Hello! My name is Trevor Theuerling and I am a graphic designer. Art has always been an outlet for me to express myself and spread a larger message.
My submitted works for this exhibition are examples of this. Through my studies and experience, I have learned that art and design have so many outlets and opportunities in today’s world.
It is up to us, as artists, to help spread these messages and tell these stories through our work.

Name: Sea Life: Alternative
Medium: Intaglio + Digital
Size: 5 x 7in
This intaglio print illustrates the effects of plastic pollution in the Oceans. This piece acts as a call to action and showcases this issue from a new perspective. Reworking this piece digitally allowed me to incorporate garbage and litter into the artwork, creating a distasteful environment which fits the overall theme.
Name: Until I See You Again
Medium: Lino Print
Size: 8 x 10in
This print was created to commemorate the memories I had with my Grandpa before he passed on. In an abstraction of his legacy through the eyes of my younger self, I thoughtfully selected objects and shapes that would help me to preserve his memory.
