Summerfair Cincinnati's High School Scholarships initiative brings Scholastic visual art entries to new exhibit.

In an effort to increase visibility and public awareness of Summerfair Cincinnati’s High School Scholarship initiative, in 2008, Summerfair Cincinnati is partnering with Art Machine / Scholastics in featuring two exhibits, curated by Executive Director Sharon Strubbe, of approximately 70 pieces each, of  Scholastic visual art entries.  Crossroads Hospice generously agreed to sponsor the first exhibit, which hung in their administrative offices in Blue Ash and ran from Friday, March 14 – Friday, April 25.

The second exhibit was installed for the 2008 Summerfair and hung in Moonlight Gardens the three days of the 2008 Fair.  The exhibit was juried and awards were announced on Saturday, May 31 by the “Mayor of Summerfair”, Jim Scott of 700WLW.   This exhibit is generously sponsored by GBBN.
