Shop LOCAL for the holidays!

Those of us who appreciate fine art and craft and enjoy SHOPPING LOCAL have several options when looking for that special "something" for everyone on our holiday gift list.

I'm gathering ideas for my own shopping adventures and would love to share them with all my likewise "art addicted" friends.  (Please, if you know of other events coming up, add your "comment" to this blog - share the wealth that is Cincinnati's art heritage this holiday season)!

Year - round shopping @ indigenous, a handcrafted gallery (in O'Bryonville)

Year - round shopping @ all the local art galleries, including the Malton Gallery, the Weston Gallery...and others.

Events coming up:

Autumn Air Art Fair @ the Clifton Cultural Arts Center:  Nov. 5 from 11a - 5p.  50 local artists

Holiday Expressions Trunk Show @ the Cincinnati Art Museum:  Nov. 11, 12 and 13 from 11a - 4p.  10% off all purchases.

Winterfaire @ the NKY Convention and Visitors Center: Nov. 25 & 26 from 10a - 5p and Nov. 27 from 11a-4p.

I'll keep this list updated as new events come across my radar...and hope you will, too!

Mica 12/v is a great store downtown to find work by local artists. I've seen several there including Brenda Tarbell.
